My rover 75 2.5 V6 has been sitting a year or two and the front fog lights are permanently on, even with the keys out and the car locked. The wiring around the lights and ECU looks dry and the bonnet switch has just been replaced. Took the 75 for a high speed trip from London to West Wales, and it was fine for the fist half an hour, but when I stopped for Petrol after the Severn Bridge, it cranked over for a good few seconds before starting. Battery is new, so no problem with cranking speed. Could it be the fuel filter? no codes apart from the usual under seat front airbag sensors. It has been a few years ...

Does anyone recommend a method to repair tears in the door shredders?

These items are the sheets of foam that are stuck to the doors behind the door cards.

Thanks

Mike

Hi Terry.
It is near the battery just under to the left of the battery; the battery would need removing and so would the metal plate in the battery tray.

Torx 30 i think.

I am having difficulty in getting the front U clips, located underneath the seat, to stay engaged by the lug.

I have managed to clip on one side but it just springs back up off the lug.

The rear of the seat is correctly secured onto the rear lugs.

I have examined the U clips at the front of the seat and they are in order.

Would taking the seat back rest out and then ...

Hi folks
The white clip device which is attached to the centre window runner has broken off. Looks to me that this is where the operating cables attach. I think one of the cables became tangled around its pulley and the force of the motor operating snapped the white plastic bit. Unfortunately not a repairable part.
I presume it would be impossible to get a new replacement.
Any pointers in the right direction will be ...
