Can anyone tell me what functions this unit controls. My heated rear screen is not working, no power to the screen, someone suggested that the BCU could be the problem.

In case it is of use I saw a post that was placed years ago on a classic car forum that said the Three Arches Garage in Cardiff had T4 diagnostics. I rang the Three Arches and the lady said that they still have the T4 equipment but it has not been switched on for a long time so they will need to switch it on. They charge £60 all in and need 2 weeks ...

The event is a charity event and full details can be found on their FaceBook page, where I copied this from: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61583819289213

Hi all, My 1999 75 is suffering from a parasitic battery drain which appears to be coming from the BCU. After letting the car 'go to sleep' I have a 100ma battery drain - the only fuse with any drain across it is #5 which according to my manual only feeds the BCU. Does anyone have any experience of this? I'm wondering if it's likely to be the BCU that's faulty or an input to ...

When it comes to Rover 75 carpets (cabin, boot floor and boot sides) do all models have the same quality. The context being if we see Rover 75s parked up for parts. Do we assume a low spec club or classic model has the same quality trim, carpets and parts as a Connoiseur SE or top of the range?

I am coming across some in a panic about older (7 years or more) car tax increases in April 2026. But I thought our older car tax was staying roughly the same. My CDTi is 163 on emissions and £265
