With a house move pending to a more rural location I have been looking at the Clarke's Garage Tent as an easy temporary use. Especially as some sell cheaply as bought but not used. There are various makes of garage tent and we can just improvise with tarps. But one youtube with a classic Land Rover found the Clarkes garage tent was kind of warm inside with no ventilation which meant the warm air turned to condensation on reaching a cold metal body. So that the Land Rover was very much wetter than the cars parked in the open air and in the wind. It would be possible to cover the ground with tarps but I am led to believe the problem would still exist and a traditional garage with a concrete floor is needed. Any comments?

Garage Tent - Any good? Or too much condensation? by Ed3
I have been using a good quality car cover, one that breathe to allow condensation to escape. Ideally a carcoon would be a better solution.
For parking a car for a while I have used a car cover and also with a tarp on top of a car cover. But the problem I find with a car cover is that the car has to be dry and very clean first, (to avoid the dirt scratching the paint. And that wash to get the dirt off and get the car dry in winter is hard work if frequent.
