Hi all, My 1999 75 is suffering from a parasitic battery drain which appears to be coming from the BCU. After letting the car 'go to sleep' I have a 100ma battery drain - the only fuse with any drain across it is #5 which according to my manual only feeds the BCU. Does anyone have any experience of this? I'm wondering if it's likely to be the BCU that's faulty or an input to ...

When it comes to Rover 75 carpets (cabin, boot floor and boot sides) do all models have the same quality. The context being if we see Rover 75s parked up for parts. Do we assume a low spec club or classic model has the same quality trim, carpets and parts as a Connoiseur SE or top of the range?

I am coming across some in a panic about older (7 years or more) car tax increases in April 2026. But I thought our older car tax was staying roughly the same. My CDTi is 163 on emissions and £265

23 01 2009. 17 years ago today I purchased my Rover 75 from SMC in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire.

My purchase might have been one of the last from that garage, as it ceased trading on the 28 February 2009.

“ Lexus cars had a function where you can remotely start the engine to heat up your car, available in the MyToyota or Lexus Link Plus apps.

But now Germany has forced Lexus to REMOTELY deactivate this function so that people cannot start their engine remotely.”

Today I traded my Rover in for a Volvo XC60 as I've been struggling getting in and out of Rover. Got a good trade in for it so happy with that, hope they will keep it on the road. Getting in and out of the Volvo is much easier now. I will still attend the Nano's as I enjoy them very much and have made some very good friends over the years. Shame age catches ...

Hi all

I've recently purchased a KV6 dipstick from Motaclan for my R75. The Motaclan website says it's suitable for the R75/ZT as well as the R45/ZS. Having now searched the part number (LQM100902) online, this only seems to come up as a R45/ZS dipstick, albeit for the KV6 versions.

I appreciate I probably should have checked this before buying, but does anyone know if they are interchangeable with the 75? I can't seem to ...
