Hi all

I've recently purchased a KV6 dipstick from Motaclan for my R75. The Motaclan website says it's suitable for the R75/ZT as well as the R45/ZS. Having now searched the part number (LQM100902) online, this only seems to come up as a R45/ZS dipstick, albeit for the KV6 versions.

I appreciate I probably should have checked this before buying, but does anyone know if they are interchangeable with the 75? I can't seem to ...

For Anyone who remembers Keith Barnet from Wolverhamoton I am very sad to report that he passed away on 30 November aged 88

Keith attended many Midland Nano Meets and monthly Nano social meets at the Four Ashes, and was, always full of interesting and funny stories about his time on the road as an HGV driver

He was a lovely man and will be missed

Noticed that my old Rover was recently sold on Car & Classic.

Because it’s sold, it doesn’t show the price, unfortunately.

I'm having fun and games with finding replacement front shock absorbers for my 75. I know the original's are PG and JG, I have sourced the correct springs and thought I'd found the right shocks, only to be told that seller didn't actually have the items and the right one is no longer available.

Now having searched the internet and contacted several sellers who did have them advertised, nobody actually has the RH shock absorber ...

Hello, Just before I went away for a week without the car the passenger-side headlight wouldn't turn off. I didn't have time to see to it, so when I came back it was still just about on so I called RAC. The agent removed the bulb and sold me a new battery which immediately solved the problem, but he said it would need further attention. Now, despite emailing numerous garages, mechanics, I can't find anyone ...

Looks like I need to find another car before my MOT runs out next summer. And so not worth doing non essential repairs before then.
Yesterday, while jacking up the car, the rubber pad on the jacking point suddenly went high into the sill while other jacking point previously patched don't look that good for my next MOT. My usual welder has gone long term sick due to his lungs being damaged from welding. This ...
