Hello, Just before I went away for a week without the car the passenger-side headlight wouldn't turn off. I didn't have time to see to it, so when I came back it was still just about on so I called RAC. The agent removed the bulb and sold me a new battery which immediately solved the problem, but he said it would need further attention. Now, despite emailing numerous garages, mechanics, I can't find anyone ...

Looks like I need to find another car before my MOT runs out next summer. And so not worth doing non essential repairs before then.
Yesterday, while jacking up the car, the rubber pad on the jacking point suddenly went high into the sill while other jacking point previously patched don't look that good for my next MOT. My usual welder has gone long term sick due to his lungs being damaged from welding. This ...

I changed the oil and while clearing up I found the broken part in the attached photo on the ground under the drain plug. I had removed the under tray and so if it fell from the engine bay the location could confuse which area of the car it came from. Does anyone recognise the part?

Every time I fix a problem, it finds a new thing to go wrong. Did a whole load of work last year, new headlamps, aircon pipe, condensor. Before it was quite all back together the windscreen cracked. So when I started to investigate the reasons for the windscreen cracking the airbag light came on, and the drivers seat stopped working properly. Fixed those only for the fuel pump to start leaking. Fixed that and thought ...

COPIED TO OTHER FORUMS FOR BEST REACH - HOPE THAT'S NOT A PROBLEM

Colleagues!

I've had some unfortunate news of a personal nature, and I have to part with my 2002 75 KV6 Connoisseur SE.

I would naturally prefer it to go to a fellow enthusiast, as these cars are getting scarcer and we need to conserve them as best we can.

The problem is, I've no idea how to proceed. I don't know what ...
