locks all doors when driving off ? by Ed3

Now I have cleaned the corroded pin connections on the immobiliser I need to work out why the previous owner left all door cards half off the doors as if the doors were taken apart often while not solving the problem they were searching for.

As the car first drives away from parked the central locking "always" clucks all doors locked. Is this a fault or is it programmed to do that for security? In case someone tries to jump in at traffic lights etc?

All about the workings of all the doors (closing and locks) feel rough compared to my old high mileage Rover 75. I will be working through step by step.

It's a programmed option. Done via the T4 (Testbook version 4.Computer Diagnostic System).

TOAF can also make changes to this system - make sure you take a backup before changing any modules!
