At the Nano Saturday 30 August 2025 some of us discussed how to get around a clutch going and whether DIY is possible and some were keen to see this Youtube link. I am not sure where best to post the link for some of those at the Nano to see

Regards the Aircon Condenser Autodoc seems to be one of the cheaper at £59 new delivered. But the sizes offered seem to differ? How would we know which part is correct?

Is the next Nano able to de-gas to fit? Or should I de-gas asap and start to fit?

I have had this 2005 CDTi saloon for 8 years in November and never got around to making the original radio/CD or rather a replacement work. It has just past the MOT so worth doing a few improvements. Any suggestions on the best way to have a working radio etc?

I have a working 1990s Vauxhall Cavalier radio tape cassette. I am not sure whether that would fit? Or what sort of Radio music player ...

So we all know about headlamps going cloudy, and that it's possible to polish them up. But from the factory there wasn't an issue for many years. Once polished they go cloudy within a few months.

As a potential solution I bought new repro units from Rimmers. They are clearly not OE but have stayed clear since fitted 18 months ago. However its possible the levelling motors inside have failed. They did work, but don't ...

Hi All,

I need a new windscreen for my Rover 75. I have ordered all items from Rimmer Bros. However, it appears that item ZUA000960, which is the chrome finishers strips (x3 pieces) that go around the windscreen are no longer available. Obviously, I'm hoping that Autowindscreens can remove my existing strips but I image they will break being 20+ years old. Any advice or suggestions?

I will need an MOT soon and with using the car very occasionally things can seize. The latest being the reversing lights only work sometimes. I read that for cars before 2009(?) reversing lights are not a part of the MOT?
Regards a fix I read to take the plug off at the n/s gearbox and test the wiring. Any tips on what to do is the wiring is ok? Could a clean of the ...

Can I use 3a screw connectors on a towbar wiring loom inside the car boot?

I have fitted the towbar and sockets to the exterior and just need to connect the second hand wiring loom with relays inside the boot to the wires going to the rear light clusters (left & right). I ordered choc box connectors and they sent small 3 amp screw connectors for use in each choc box. Does anyone know if ...

I think I've identified a suitable replacement for the long time unobtainable two piece clip which fixes the bumper to the front wing on our cars, usually know as the 'fir tree clip'.
The original clips seem to have been manufactured by a company called TRW and they produce a very similar two piece clip, these are supplied by a retailer called JetPress and their reference number for the clip is TPF071, here's a link ...

I've just been reading the 'How To' detailing how to align the front bumper on facelift models on the other side.. At one point in the 'How To' it seems to suggest removing the fir tree clip that secures the bumper to the front wing at the uppermost edge of the 'S' line of the wing / bumper:

Raising the slam panel is important because it in turn raises the headlights, allowing vertical movement of ...

Just checking which major parts do I leave off when fitting the towbar? The towbar seems to replace the large horizontal support bar? But do I assume the two very large polystyrene padding sections are also left off the car?

At the centre of the rear of the car (and only seen with the bumper off) there is a plastic or polythene plug that needs a hole made in it to push the wiring through. ...
