I think I've identified a suitable replacement for the long time unobtainable two piece clip which fixes the bumper to the front wing on our cars, usually know as the 'fir tree clip'.
The original clips seem to have been manufactured by a company called TRW and they produce a very similar two piece clip, these are supplied by a retailer called JetPress and their reference number for the clip is TPF071, here's a link ...

I've just been reading the 'How To' detailing how to align the front bumper on facelift models on the other side.. At one point in the 'How To' it seems to suggest removing the fir tree clip that secures the bumper to the front wing at the uppermost edge of the 'S' line of the wing / bumper:

Raising the slam panel is important because it in turn raises the headlights, allowing vertical movement of ...

Just checking which major parts do I leave off when fitting the towbar? The towbar seems to replace the large horizontal support bar? But do I assume the two very large polystyrene padding sections are also left off the car?

At the centre of the rear of the car (and only seen with the bumper off) there is a plastic or polythene plug that needs a hole made in it to push the wiring through. ...

I have connected my car to the PSCAN reader and it is showing:

Wheel speed sensor front left open circuit.

I understand that this could be a break in the wire from the sensor to the ABS unit.

How do I find this break in the wire? Is there a usual location?
Can I use a multimeter to check if the sensor is working?
If so how?

The sensor is a genuine MGR part ...

My rover 75 2.5 V6 has been sitting a year or two and the front fog lights are permanently on, even with the keys out and the car locked. The wiring around the lights and ECU looks dry and the bonnet switch has just been replaced. When the problem first started first started, the fog lights would flash and the alarm would go off, now the fog lights stay on and the alarm works fine. ...

Took the 75 for a high speed trip from London to West Wales, and it was fine for the fist half an hour, but when I stopped for Petrol after the Severn Bridge, it cranked over for a good few seconds before starting. Battery is new, so no problem with cranking speed. Could it be the fuel filter? no codes apart from the usual under seat front airbag sensors. It has been a few years ...
