I have been trying to find the input to the IPK that turns on the low coolant light, it's on the top row, right side on a non message centre IPK. Just looking for some advice. A friend of mine has an MG ZR with the 1.8 K series in it. And it's having trouble starting. When you turn the key, you can hear the fuel pump priming and everything getting ready, but the starter doesn't turn. If you hold the key round, it will eventually turn the engine over, and the engine starts absolutely fine. I've checked all the connections and there's nothing obvious there. ...
Is the cruise control gubbins specific to each engine? I've been looking for bits on ebay and I keep finding bits that are listed for the Kv6 and the CDTi but I can't find any bits for the 1.8. And would it depends on whether the 1.8 is a T or not? Also would love it if someone could help me fit it...
