Lots of people have had to buy new laptops or desktops what's stopping them from doing the same thing in another 3 years time.

We have gone for a micro form factor one, both for us, and my Dad. Could be mounted on the back of the screen but optional. Can't believe how cheap screens are. Got my Dad a new screen from the Dell refurbished shop (basically brand new) and its 27" for £90. Our PC, and my Mum's laptop and Dad's desktop, all came from the Dell outlet and are a significant saving.

Lawns. No thanks. Deleted back in 2000. Decided to do something different today (for once). Visited Eccleshall to see what the fuss was about, disappointing. Went to Gentleshaw wildife rescue, lovely and what fab work they do. Afternoon more annoying computer related stuff. After finally sorting Mum and Dads upgrades to W11 (via new machines) turns out the network storage they have been using has dying discs. Oh don't you love technology.

quite nice yesterday again no rain, fitted some LED (Light Emitting Diode) lights in the kitchen under the cupboards so they switch on when we are working in that area.

Gave both FL2 a quick wash, and checked the paint had dried nicely on a tow bar i recently treated and painted.

Wow, just a reminder of how fragile life can be.
Wifes sister on holiday in Tenerife ended up with double pneumonia and struggling to breathe. Long story short, in intensive care with heart failure and on oxygen, the air ambulance said she is not well enough for them to fly her home so she is stuck in a hospital bed and doesn't have the strength to walk etc for the foreseeable future!

HI Dave & Marina.
So sorry to hear this bad news, hope she, not on her own over there, also lets hope she gets well enough to be flown back to the UK asap.

You just never know what is round the corner.

Small tree stump to remove today so they can have access to fit daughter in laws charge point up at their house. He has an old Porsche Cayenne, not worth much, and the v8 is not exactly frugal so a lease car through work for her that is all electric is perfect for them.

Greetings Dave and Marina

I've had Pneumonia, no where near as bad as your SIL so I have some idea of what she is going through. Hopefully she is getting the best care available and will be back home soon.

Best wishes to Marina, no fun feeling helpless in the face of adversity.

Changed the air and diesel filter on the FL2 yesterday, not a difficult job but always wary of moving and disconnecting engine wiring. All good though

Hi Dave.
Nice one that's fuel filter done for another two years, air filter maybe one year depending on how and where it's driven.

Did both my fuel filters back in October, timing belts over the next month
