Thanks

Hi Ed.
You need the one in photo 1 above i think it was 62/63mm you can almost but joint the to pipes together also use some exhaust paste, from ebay, but i should imagine you could get one from Halfords or other car markets shops.

Thanks Steve,
Amazon delivered this the next day

I used tape to mark the diesel exhaust and cut and it all now fits. But I have taken the silencer back off to rust proof & paint the underside and fit a towbar.

One question about the rear silencer holding bracket rubbers. The new v6 back box came with a new bracket all for £57 delivered. I have the old rear exhaust bracket totally off but the rubbers remain on the big pins on the chassis side. - And those chassis side pins that rubbers hang on seem very rusty in need of a clean up. But I cant easily seem to get them off the chassis side pins to clean up the pins. Should I just leave them alone and on and rusty? Or are there tips for how to get the rubbers off without damaging them?

Hi Ed.
The rubber hangers are hard to remove because over time they become hard and no longer supple, so it may pay to renew them if not just push them back as far as you can and treat the hanging pins.
