Some may know I am a member of STAR ( Sunbeam Talbot Alpine Register).
Well, they have recently had the annual evening meal get together in Scotland.

Excuse the Citroen, as its one of the Regional secs cars but what setting for an evening meal.

Still not sure my T shirt and jeans approach fits in with the demographic

Hi all,still around (a new project!!)This taken few weeks ago in Crete,tricky to set up,found the site in daylight and managed to drive back there in total darkness,two dried up river beds.....long drops either side...then reverse back!! (shame about the Photobucket resolution on this one)

I think she looks quite nice there in the sunshine



With 350 BHP under the bonnet she used to go quite well too

I got back from the show a couple of hours ago, there were some great MGs and Rovers there, here's a few of the pictures:












It was a great show, it's also got a lot bigger since the last time I went a few years ago!

I am looking for a good quality tripod,my set up weighs in at over 2.5kg.I cannot afford a Gitzo but am prepared to pay a fair sum.So far its Manfrroto,Giottso,Benro.I have an old Benbo,which is brilliant.....like a set of bagpipes to use but not strong enough for this load!I have treated myself to a lovely ball/socket head...
