Ok so I now have my cd widescreen and a flat pin true BM54 with MP3 supprt but I am getting quite confused over what leads I need....
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BMW-BM24-BM54-Ada ... 51907171da

That one seems to be the full kit? as it does say "For vehicles with and without CD Changer.."
Or do I need anything else?

Now with this one I take it I need the aeriel and cd wiring but from a quick look by the time I add these on it will be dearer than the 1st one... unless someone knows a better place to source any of the extra adapters that I can't find on google.

Am I missing anything? and should I just go for the first one?

The other leads you need are
61.12.6.924.785 10 to 12 pin adaptor.
61.12.6.913.955 antenna adaptor (this looks like its included with the first one)

I can't tell if the 10 to 12 pin adapter is needed with the first one or not.
The second one is the one I purchased as I already had the two other leads.

Where did you get your leads from?

I think from a bit more searching I need the audio lead for the cd changer which I think you called the 10 to 12 pin adapter?

I did just find this...

A bit pricy, though if I can get the other 2 leads seperate for similar prices to the one you have that would be great... is this going to be a trip to a BMW dealer coming up?

I got mine of a member who was selling extras from the car before part exchanging it.
If you have a uncooperative BMW dealer you can get from here

Cheers for the website,

I have found a website selling that first loom so I have emailed them asking about the 10pin to 12 pin adapter... Think they might even be the original manufacturers of the eBay one... Will wait and see what they say.
