that is what foxed me hence asking about the reception.i am using adaptors form the same company they are called phantom aerails.i am using them with the standard aerails fitted in the sixth lights.i get a 1st class picture in cambridge where i work any where else not a lot.i will look for the active antenna setting on the menu as having changed all the highline bits it might need the settings changing.now running bmw 16.9 headunit bmw 16.9 tv tuner.bm 24 radio tuner.with a bmw mk4 navdrive
