A pinacle of engineering design by Raistlin

Having been recently required to make use of a walking stick, it wasn't very long before the excellence of the engineering design struck me.

No, no the support function. Rather the way in which the walking stick is balanced, off-set and weighted so that it will fall to the floor under almost any circumstances when temporarily parked outwith the owner's control.

The damned thing just WILL not remain where I want it to

Planning is an unnatural process, much better to just get on with things, that way failure comes as a complete surprise instead of being preceeded by a period of worry and doubt

I have a spare, destined for David's T4. You are welcome to borrow either until the Nano season starts again!
