TSR2 as well! That's a keeper :) Hands up who spotted XV231 behind the Lightning at Manchester?

Well in the garden this after and this rather strange noise in the distance.

Looked through the gap in the houses and there was XH558.

Even swmbo was impressed.

Believe it's at Clacton tomorrow and the general direction we saw it guess it was over Wattisham.

Awesome.

Very interesting programme, was never really interested in aircraft at the time, I am now. I think I may own a rivet on XH558 or at least part of one. :)

What got me was even when there was a fatal crash at Farnborough, they carried on? What was it? A test pilot a month was killed?

Hope to catch Pt 2 next week.

I missed episode 1, but just watched episode 2. Excellent programme but would liked to have seen something on the 1-11, Trident, HS748, HS125, and the Handley Page Herald and Jetstream. And just to upset Boeing,a footnote, VC10 50 years and still going.

I thought maybe a nod to Concorde as well? Still an interesting programme though.
