Those of us who frequent the OC forum will already know that the ultimate Gentleman of our time has passed away.
Derek Passed yesterday in the comfort of a hospice. He was an old Soldier and proud of it. His user name Windrush came from the name of the ship he used to serve on.
RIP Derek.

Never met him but he always seemed the very essence of equanimity and old fashioned courtesy on the OC forum.

The world will be, I am sure, the poorer for his passing.

Met him a few times at meets and he loved his car and being part of a club, RIP Derek and condolences to Lillian & family
