Not sure what happened but this was the dashboard that my van was displaying today, this was taken by the passenger while we were doing 60mph.

like most of the van/lorries i drive , lots of warning lights.... looks like you have a fault with your vans brain or a iffy sensor or 2

Problem with the ABS (Antilock Braking System) unit I'd say. Most if not all are brake warnings: ABS light, Brake fault warning light, and no speedo. CAN (Bus Controller Area Network) isn't down as the tacho is still working. Is it a vauxhall by any chance?

Yes Duncan it's a vauxhall vivaro on a 56 plate.

Dropping it off at the dealers tomorrow but they might not get to look at it till Wednesday.

Ia it safe to drive ?

Personally I wouldn't. The ABS is completely disabled if it is that. Some people say the brakes still work like cars without ABS, but the foundation brakes won't have brake force limitation for the rears and you may lock the back too easily.

I asked if it were a Vauxhall because I've heard stories of water tracking up the earth wire for the ABS and causing problems. They are only things I've heard mind, doesn't mean they are true.

EDIT:
The STOP warning lamp is on, so the car is telling you not to drive, too.

Just had word back from the dealer and it seems that the battery had leaked and has caused corrosion on some part of the wiring loom.

Not got all the cost details yet but I don't think it's going to be cheap.

Do wonder where some of these Labor prices come from.
