So someone is jailed and also disqualified from driving..... by PaulT

Just curious, if someone is jailed and also disqualified from driving does the disqualification start from when they are released or at the same time that they are imprisoned?

I would have thought that it would start from the day of conviction.

Planning is an unnatural process, much better to just get on with things, that way failure comes as a complete surprise instead of being preceeded by a period of worry and doubt

Thanks Rob.

I read about a case and I thought 'the ban will be at an end when they are released from prison unless it starts after they are released'. So in the past if it had the only real penalty was when they tried to get insurance.
