Saw this in the paper yesterday, owner is a millionnaire who was taken to court by the local council as his chopper was in danger of causing damage to trees in the vicinity on landing and taking off, the council lost the case so he is free to carry on an must be a decent pilot to land where he does

Planning is an unnatural process, much better to just get on with things, that way failure comes as a complete surprise instead of being preceeded by a period of worry and doubt

There is definitely a connection Duncan!

Apparently the helicopter which is a Hughes 369 HS used to be G-STEF and was owned by Barry Sheene Racing LTD in Surrey in 1984 to 86.

G-ORRR as it is now was de-registered in 2006 and recorded as destroyed!!!???

Makes you wonder how it was damaging trees recently when it crashed back in 2006.
