Well, in a few days I'm changing jobs again. I enjoy the old one, but the new one reduces my commute by 2 hours and 84 miles. It will be the closest I've lived to work in almost my whole life.

It's not just for that, its going to be a great job too, but I can't ignore the fact that I currently drive past the new office at 05:55 on the way to my current job.

It's another company no-one will have heard of, as they make specialist car test equipment for manufacturers, and is a tenth the size of the small company I work for now!

Congratulations, a job you really like and getting a large chunk of your life back as well. Can't be bad. :)

Congrats Duncan. Love the feeling of a new job, and so much less of a commute for you as well.

Best of luck with it.

Planning is an unnatural process, much better to just get on with things, that way failure comes as a complete surprise instead of being preceeded by a period of worry and doubt
