Can't make this one. Back from California but with a fractured fibula and now stuck in Worcester hospital.

Popped into the Ashes tonight with the intention of booking a table for our Xmas meal, only to be told they no longer do food, lounge closed and only bar available for drinks, so watch this space and Merry Xmas to all !!!!!!

Re the social night I have decided to cancel as no point going into Ashes with just bar open and zero other customers, the same happened last year when we turned up near Xmas and the Ashes had closed without notice and we couldnt get in anywhere else as lots of Xmas bookings etc
