Couldn't happen to a more deserving individual.

Ever made a costly decision in your life.........

Around 6 yr ago my work colleague and I were TUPE'd across from our old company. We were grafted in to the workforce but due to our T&C's we were on around 5k per annum more than others with a further guaranteed bonus of around 1k.
The company asked us if we would surrender our terms rather than wait the mandatory time before they could legally change them.
They offered us inclusion of the Capital Lock program but wouldn't tell us its worth.
As I was reluctant to loose any of my 6k per annum I refused. My colleague only had around 12 months to work so he thought he hadn't much to loose and accepted.

Later we discovered capital lock was the flotation of the company on the stock market and as it was owned by the "capital lock" workforce. he received a cheque for just over £100,000 after tax .....
