Alternative fix for inner waist trims by Trebor

Most of us know that the inner waist trims at the top of the doors, especially in the rear of the cars, is prone to oxidisation which results in the metal inside the trim bubbling which then makes the trim look unsightly and as the trim is hard to find a lot of owners have to live with it

Well there is a solution which may not be for the purists , but it is innovative, simple, very low cost, and will allow you to throw away that horrible trim

This is not my " how to " and all credit goes to Zelijko Karamatic who is also an enthusiast from the German Club 75

The original document I received was in German but Google translate has done a good job of converting to English although the odd few words may have got lost or changed in translation

Planning is an unnatural process, much better to just get on with things, that way failure comes as a complete surprise instead of being preceeded by a period of worry and doubt
