The man who, had he survived the war, would have been my father-in-law was a Polish Spitfire pilot in 303 Squadron.

Bernard, are you aware of the Group 303Jag Squad group on facebook? My FiL's half brother (Polish) was in the RAF too, though a LAC not a flier as far as we know.
