Samsung S5 Broken Screen Advice by Trebor

i have only had the phone a few months and didnt take out the insurance, and have now managed to break the screen.

The phone is working as normal in the background as i can hear the usual sounds coming from it, but the screen is blank so not just cracked glass

It appears to be a costly repair job, in excess of £100

Has anyone been down this route with the S5 and if so what did it cost ?

Any advice appreciated

Planning is an unnatural process, much better to just get on with things, that way failure comes as a complete surprise instead of being preceeded by a period of worry and doubt

Hi Rob.
I know this might not help but there is one on the bay for sale with a broken screen and bidding is strong. so they must be worth repairing ?

There are also people selling them for spares maybe you could pick one up cheep and transfer the screen over ?
