I'm sitting in the retiring room at Court at the moment.

At 10:10, we disqualified an individual from driving for 24 months.

Our legal advisor has just stuck his head around the door to let us know that the same individual has just been caught driving off the Civic Centre car park, will be processed, charged and returned to our Court by lunchtime.

Something of a record I think :( Only one place he's going.

I would hazard a guess there a very few that are prosecuted that aren't terminally stupid.

No, he thought that either he was allowed to get home or the ban wouldn't take effect until he sent his licence off.

When I was "banned" purely for incorrect medical reasons I hasten to add, I received my notification that my licence was to be revoked in three weeks time and that I was allowed to continue driving until then???

Not a chance Gary. When I disqualify someone in Court, they are left in no doubt :)
