hi chris

I went down on Saturday to kwik fit in boro, lads there are alright. was going to battery tested but there was a a bit of a queue . Am going back tomorrow to have it looked at for free and buy it somewhere a lot cheaper.
will keep you posted.

if it comes back as ok I will have a looksie at that filter.

hi Chris

went to kwik fit, battery tested...all things like alternator and stuff found to be ok...battery only holding 52% don't know the exact phrase but fella said it was shot...! QUOTED 110 QUID.. I quickly gave him and the staff a box of biscuits as a little thankyou and went to nearby motor factors and got one for 55 squid.

Hopefully problem solved. A cell can collapse (I think that's the term they use), leading to the battery being unable to hold a full charge.
