What about a "National" Community online meet? by Rammie

I seem to recall this happened somewhere else, or something similar.

We pick a time and date to be online and see how many members we can actually get online at the same time, current record is 44 and this was when we had less members.

Surely, we can beat that number now we have over 450 members?

Anyone got any printable comments / thoughts?

Would the Community server be able to cope with the vast numbers online at the same time, I wonder?

Only a thought before the footie starts :gmc:

No problem at all with numbers on line at the same time. Pick a date and time and we'll all do our best to (be out of the country) be on line at that time.

Not according to Zeb's friend Wiki...

'course...Wiki could be wrong......maybe it depends on what type of peat.... :D

Any night will do me for the cyber meet....unless I am away at a real life meet :D

We had a fantastic Christmas day meal at our local Indian a couple of years ago. :D

In spite of being strict Moslems they entered into the spirit of the day with enthusiasm.
I don't like signatures, they take up too much screen space.

What I like about the one we use is that it is the normal menu at normal prices.

There are tables of two and tables of large family groups.

We were in there last year when at about 1pm the phone rang and they then started to lay another table - wondered whether the meal had been burnt or the turkey had not defrosted.
