I think my Nephew, was in the car at the time. He must have realised the Spitty was unusual, and seen the film crew, so was looking out for it.

Who said it was a Spitfire? Everyone knows Spitty is a nickname for a GT6.


(Or that I don't know my Triumphs very well, and Mike's a Smartarse!).

Oddly enough, just spotted the Spit on the prog, thought it looked familiar, guessed I'd seen it in Practical Classics, did a Google, found nowt, then came on here and...... there it was! ;)
