Does anyone know the difference between the original film and the directors cut version?? I have read some negative reviews about the directors cut.....some say the story was changed.

anyways...any advice on which version to buy or borrow??

The directors' cut has a little more footage and it's also got very good optional english dubbing available, that's unless you prefer to watch it in the original german.

Excellent film, one of my favorites unfortunately I've loaned mine out must get it back.
