US English is an official EU language by PaulT

Just read the draft proposals presented to the Greek government regarding the bailout. In it it states:

'and a super-reduced rate of 6 percent for pharmaceuticals, books, and theater'

I have emailed the EU to ask if US and not UK English is the official EU language!

Are you referring to the word 'pharmaceuticals'? It comes from the word pharmakeutikos and is Greek. Apparently?
