Have you seen an old Ford Mondeo with Gaffer tape on one of its bumpers? If so then post a picture up. To get you started...

does it absolutly have to be a mondeo? i ask as there are some truely fantastic repairs around here, one of the best one being an old silver escort which has had a bump on one of the doors. they used black tape to follow the missing bit of trim, and silver tape to hide the damaged paint and rust

Slightly off topic but years ago a friend of mine had a Fiat X1/9.

He was improving an old repair which didn't look the best. When he stripped it all back he found that they had used old flattened Stork margarine tubs painted over. (For those who never did this in Science at school - if you put a margarine tub in a pressure cooker it goes back to a flat piece of plastic).

For a long time now I haven't seen any GTBR (gaffer tape bumper repair). So this evening I had to laugh out loud and immediately thought about this thread, when I saw a Mondeo with this feature.

BTW Have you ever seen a 75 with a gaffer tape repair? :stirer:
No, I won't show you any pics. :censored:

It has been too dark, or I didn't have a camera, or both. Don't remember.
Does this count as an excuse, Lewis?

I don't like signatures, they take up too much screen space.

Saw one on the M11 yesterday. No pic unfortunately, almost the entire rear bumper was black and grey gaffer tape in no particular order.
