Ok so this is not the conventional way to do it but it saves pulling the door cards off, and removing the glass to access the little spring so the thumb pieces come off the car.

You will need some trim tools for the job small piece of rag, just in case i didn't use a rag which you put behind the trim tool because you need to lever off the thumb pieces.

First check if you thumbs pieces have the black clip in them if not you will need the ones out of the old thumbs

Slide the little trim which in your case maybe chrome from off the door.

Next use the trim tool to pry off the thumb piece carefully using the rag behind it if you need too, note that the four pegs have some slots in this is what the spring in the door holds on too, 9times out of 10 they break, when prying off this is why you can only do this if you have new thumbs pieces.

You may hear the little piece of peg that breaks off drop in to the door don't mind about that, slide the door handle forward to where the thumb was and pull outwards.

Once the handle latch has come out pull fully out and slide out the back of the handle from the door..
Image9

repeat this on each door, one at a time of cause.

Image12

Image13

Image14

Image15

Image16

Image17

Image
Image18

You then fit the new door handles the opposite of taking them off.

back end in first slide back, then pull forward a little slot into the door and slide back again.

Image20

Image21

The last part in the thumb you line up and tap it in with the palm of you hand.
Image22

Image23

Image24

Image25

Slide back the little chrome door trim back on in my case it's colour coded red.
Image26

Image27

Image28

Image29

Image30

Finished but as i said above this is not the conventional way to do the job and can only be done this way if you have new thumb pieces with al four pegs in tact.
