removal of back plugs on a rover75 v6 by andrewscruff

can someone tell me how to replace the back plugs on a rover75 v6 please

Open bonnet, on the bulkhead you will see the sound deadening panel. this comes away easily enough with the plastic hand nuts. Then you need to remove the panel behind it ( 2 8mm nuts top left and right.) pull the panel up and away
This gives better access to the back of the rear head. You can then get you hand down the back and access the 2x 8mm nuts on each coil pack on the rear bank. You will need a 1/4 drive extn and ratchet. For the plugs you will need a long and short extn. Do not try to start the car with the ign packs disconnected, do them one at a time. Fiddly, allow a couple of hours ;)

If you put Iridium plugs in, they don't need changing for another 60,000 miles! :)
