Probably a tactical error. by Bernard

I was discussing the subject of eating carp today with an Eastern European gent. Carp is a great delicacy out there.

I pointed out that I knew the word for 'carp' in the Czech language is 'capr'. Then went on to say that in my opinion, as a meal, there was another anagram and much more descriptive spelling for it.

The error comes in when I tell you that this is the guy who is operating on my shoulder next week. :panic: :panic:

I've generally found the Europeans from east of the Oder-Neisse line to have a fine sense of humour.
This one was no exception....or was exceptionally polite!

He was still insisting that carp was a fine delicacy though. A bit meaty and earthy for my taste and I'm not a fussy eater.
