whats the difference, yesterday i gave Jennifer a well earned clean with the wifes shampoo (sshhh dont tell her) and the polished with Mur, then looking through my car cleaning box i noticed that some say wax, and some are polish, what is the difference exactly to the finish, should i polish then wax??

Also what is detailers clay

Polish first which gives the paint the shine, then wax to protect that shine as water etc just runs off the wax. Claying is to remove deposits that are floating in the air that have built up on the paint. This is just a basic idea and I'm sure a valleter will be along to give more detail.
