A very short sighted move in my opinion getting rid of the harrier clearly it was becoming dated but still a very able platform. maybe the yanks would not sell us the latest weapons unless we purchase the new aircraft. We scrap the Harrier flog it cheap to the yanks they still operate it and we place an orders for an aircraft that ain't sorted yet. Only our mob (mps) would think up a deal like that. :hissyfit:
