I thought the agreement on these was always that they should never be offered for sale at a price greater than that they were supplied at???

I know it was an auction, and that the price was not therefore determined by the seller but...

Andrew did offer them here first at the cost price but there were no takers. I don't know if they were offered elsewhere at that time. The only resort was to put them on Ebay. In the event they fetched little more than the cost price, once Ebay fees had been extracted I doubt there was any profit to be had.

I assisted with the last but one batch to be reproduced and there was a concensus that these would not be resold for gain. Another aspect was that a number of us ordered two sets, the idea being that there would be a bank of finishers that people could draw on in the event of anyone losing an individual finisher from their car.

I haven't lost any of mine yet, still in a drawer waiting to be fitted,

Funny Mike,

I got two sets, 2 years back, nervous of any 'drop offs', or deterioration, still in my drawer too, as they all seem firmly stuck and very bright to the eye still!
