My 149000 mile cdti diesel 75 2005 is playing up.jumps through first to second then o third then smooth again in 4 and 5.same back down the box.fluids been replaced no difference.is it possible to replace just the box as the rest of the car is great.

Possible solenoid problem, there is, I think a 'How To' to check solenoids.
Do a search, there is a list of what the voltages should be etc. Certainly sounds like solenoids.
