Anyone know how the brake pedal is attached? I need to take mine out.

From memory, a clevis pin with a clip rather than a split pin.

EDIT: this is what Motaclan (used to be Xpart) show: https://motaclan.com/product-category/m ... als_11215/

The Haynes manual gives it 3 out of 5 for how difficult it is to remove the "pedal box" and has a section 9:11 with 14 points. and point 7 says "Remove the two bolts and four nuts securing the pedal box assembly to the bulkhead. Disconnect the multi-plug(s) and remove the assembly."

I like to look at parts for sale on e.g. ebay to see where bolts, nuts and holes are.

You also need to be an contortionist to get to the pin clip, once removed then it's straight forward.

Thanks for the replies, I don't think that I can contort this 85 year old body like it was possible a few years ago!

I found it helpful to take out the drivers seat and place my 1980s long narrow foam camping mat, from the rear seat and the rear floor pan and under the pedals to make it easy to lie comfortably over the cable connections and various things in the cabin carpet. Before starting any repairs I work out the best ways to enter and exit such as via the rear passenger door. I did all this over a number of days to check I was ok with each stage
I tried other ideas but not sure if I should say

It was actually a lot easier than I feared, just 2 clevis pins quite easily got to. 5 minutes to get out, 3 minutes to replace and 10 minutes to find out why the brake light was permanently on.
The great thing is that I now have enough space for my size 12 left foot by replacing the double width pedal of my R75 V8 with one from a manual transmission car. :-D
