AutoCAD 2012 - Students and Teachers by Mad-Monkey

Just a heads up really. I don't know how many dabble or work with the software from Autodesk, but anyone who is a student or a teacher can now download the software completely free. There are around 30 programs all for free download. They do however print a banner round the edges of work to stop commercial applications.

I was looking for some CAD software to practise exporting 3D images to be CNC cut or Laser engraved. I was quite happy to pay if the price was reasonable as I'm a student at the moment through work. However, they're all free!

People call me average, but I think that's mean!

The link steve posted points to the same direction but I think the front end of the site is http://students.autodesk.com/

Forgot to mention the licence is for 3 years, certainly nothing to be sniffed at! :)
