6 Year Service 190 - Cambelts... by Mad-Monkey

Mad-Monkey
Anyone know how much I can expect to pay for the 6 year service?? Also which is the belt that requires half the engine to be stripped, as I had one done when the water pump went as I only had to pay for the part. Hoping to haggle with some garages :)

I may need to sell a kidney :em:

Thanks

Lates is your man, someone will know how much he charges. I'll be finding out in November for the full set. :(

I think Lates posted up current pricing on the Owners Club site in the not to distant past.

Cant find them but had a look on his website. Price estimation around £528.00. Need to save!

I had lots of help doing mine, to the point of really being the assistant, even so I'm not doing it again whatever the cost.
Might do if I was 20 years younger, no, make that 30. ;)
I don't like signatures, they take up too much screen space.

Can a mod correct the title for me!! I just realised my awesomely rubbish typing skills! :o

I wouldn't do mine, don't like messing with the engine! Electricals, yes, mechanicals, no!

Might be worth getting in touch with Andy Willi to see how much he would do it for as well.

I know it's a bit of a drive to Doncaster, but not too far.

He runs a 190 as well.

David - you've also got Austin Garages a bit further north just outside Burton-Upon-Trent, a quick blast up the A38 would get you there fairly easily. Worth a quote from Nick & Jean from there too.
