A house near where I live has turned on his Xmas lights........and they cover the whole of the front of the house with more added from last year. Just so glad I do not live next to them.

Round here at the moment it's so called fireworks.

Not what I'd call fireworks though... just a sound like a land-mine going off. I really can't see the enjoyment such a device would bring.

Then again, I remember from a couple of years ago asking a youth in Court for various offences why he roamed the streets in the early hours throwing fireworks indiscriminately and he replied "it annoys people, dunnit."
