'13' plate for the superstitious by Tootall

I heard a report on the radio the other day that if new car buyers where superstitious of owning a '13' plate then they could ask the DVLA for '63' plate instead.

They should be able to get a 63 plate, so long as they wait until September this year. Otherwise it would be misrepresenting the cars age, wouldn't it?

I think you may be referring to this story, which refers to Motorists delaying their purchase until later in the year to avoid a "13" plate! ;)

It's nice to see that the papers so called "Motoring Editor" didn't know that the 63 plate doesn't come out until September 1st and not August as mentioned! :roll:
