I have been to David, Mad- Monkey, to have my IPK (Instrument pack (IPK from the German)) done and the new SRS (Supplementary Restraint System) ECU (Engine Control Unit) fitted. The Airbag light is permanently on and the SRS ECU will not talk to the T4 (Testbook version 4.Computer Diagnostic System).
David tried a couple of things and we know that there is power getting through to the ECU, so we are both stumped (Myself more than David as I hadn't a clue what he was going on about half the time :p)
Does anyone have any idea's of where to go from here? Granted my MOT is only due next year, so isn't a Failure yet, but I have no airbags either, so could prove messy if I have a bump
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, as it I have no idea where to look next
