Losing Coolant and my PCV is clogged with mayo by Michael Bee (Page 2 of 2)

There are also a few gremlins in the electrics which could take hours to track down - I would rather cut my losses.

I might turn the driver seat into a gaming chair for my son!

That's a real shame, £1K is a hell of a big price for this job, I'd at least get a sensible quote from Lates or Austin Garages before making a firm decision.
Whatever you decide I wish you the best of luck.

As for your electrics, if you can attend a nano-meet, you could find that these would be sorted out as well.

Hi chaps, had a holiday in the sun - contemplated what to do with the Connie. Decided I would have a go at it myself, but when I came back from holiday, I tried to move the car but couldn't select a gear - the master cylinder has gone. That has made my mind up - I am going to harvest all the good bits off her and send her to the car park in the sky.
