SWMBO asked me to make some arrangements with DWP regarding her pension today as she gets easily flustered when talking business on the telephone.
I got through to the right department at DWP but the chap refused to allow me to continue until he had identified SWMBO with a few "security questions" and gained her permission to discuss her affairs with me so I handed the phone over to her.
No problem in principle.
The chap at the other end then asked her three security questions, which she immediately relayed to me as she didn't know the answers. So much for security
