Bernard wrote:Just an update on my wife's condition after her problem last Saturday night.
She has since sustained two nasty falls when her legs have just given way under her, resulting in considerable bruising and lacerations to the skin.

A considerable time has been spent in casualty but X-rays etc. have all checked out OK.
Her blackeye, however, will be with her for an estimated 6 weeks. She is not safe to be left alone at the moment which will curtail my activities somewhat.

So sorry to hear that Bernard.

Please pass on my best wishes to Janina.

People call me average, but I think that's mean!

Thanks for all the good wishes, Janina is moved by your postings and also sends her thanks.

Unfortunately she now resembles a panda and has prompted jokes like-

- What do you tell a woman with two black eyes? -

- Nothing. You've told her twice already! :gmc:
I don't like signatures, they take up too much screen space.
