Stay, and take the money. Half the time I suspect they try to "encourage" people to move on to save paying out. £10,000 pays an awful lot of bills and gives you some breathing room.....and I agree, I think if you are getting job offers now, that won't change any time soon.

The company policy is:
Under the age of 41
0.5 wk pay for every completed years service
Over the age of 41 (me)
0.75 wk pay for every completed years service

looking on the gov web site statutory redundancy is 1wk and 1.5wk respectively.

God they don't even use KY do they .......

Sorry to read this Dave. Well worth taking advice though legally, as I thought it was minimum 1wk pay per year.

CAB say they MUST give you at least the statutory redundancy pay. I'd be talking to them for advice.
