She was indeed discharged on Monday evening. It was confirmed that she had a very minor heart arrack during her stay in hospital for which she is now on yet another medication. The district nurse has been to see her today and dressed the wound according to the hospital's instructions, so that's a relief at least. Just a matter of time now with a review in 3 weeks time back at the hospital.
She has certainly got me running around now like the proverbial blue tailed fly but is now resting so got a few minutes here.

Hi Bernard how's Janina and your self doing of late?
Janina is making good progress, the wound colour is fading but still looking nasty. I still can't believe the area of damage from such a minor incident. She has to keep the leg elevated and the District Nurse comes in every 3 days or so to dress the area. She is keeping well tempered, amazingly, even though her movement is so restricted by this and her other problems. Unfortunately her hopes of popping in to the Nano meet were not realised, she was just not fit enough to make the journey.
Meantime I'm absolutely fine thanks, except for being run off my feet cooking, washing, fetching and carrying....
