Amazon Prime - anybody use it? by raistlin

I used to use Amazon Prime. It cost me £39.99 for a year and I got an extra two years worth for nothing as they kept on failing their one-day delivery promise.

Anyway, I thought of taking out a subscription again, only to find that the price had doubled :(

Does anybody think it worth the price?

Cogito ergo sum... maybe?

Isn't there other things such as films etc included now?

Problem is it sort of then ties you to Amazon and that is just where you go.

I recently bought a ventilation unit that cost £300+. The company that supplied it sell via Amazon but if you go directly to them it is cheaper.

"Don't think of them as problems, think of them as opportunities."
"OK, I think I've hit an insurmountable opportunity!"

I find Amazon are often more expensive even than ebay. It's rare I buy there these days, because of their silly prices.
